Bio

Nate Vibez was born in Zambia, Africa June 8, 1984. He lived there for 3 years then moved to Los Angeles, California for 2 years. In 1989 Nate moved to Seattle, Washington where he has called home to this present date.

Nate grew up surrounded by music. Highly influenced by his Father, Mother, and two older brothers Jourard and Jovanni Daep who were deeply involved in high school choir and church choir; they introduced him to many melodic arrangements and harmonies at a very young age. Nate started singing in his freshman year of high school in 1999 at Auburn Riverside where he auditioned and performed for his first talent show. He has carried his passion for singing ever since.

Nate started his journey with R&B/Soul music in the beginning of 2002 where he was able to experience what it was like to record an original song written and produced by Charles Porkalob (Dj XTC). From then on Nate developed a great passion for writing and arranging and has worked with many producers such as David Ocon and Marcus D just to name a few. Nate has also performed in many venues such as Seattle Center, The Showbox, 88 keys, The Exhibition Center and many more. Nate has also opened events for artists such as Casie, Ryan Leslie, Jo Koy, Rex Navarette, and other well known artists.

As years went by Nate was introduced to a well known producer by the name of Don Quijano, where he has been able to hone in on his skills as a musician on and off the stage. Currently Nate dropped his first song with Marcus D called “I Can’t Help It” which has been released in Japan on Marcus D’s “Revival of the Fittest” Album. Nate is also working on his first EP album called “Muzik for the Soul” which will be released by July 2010. You can find Nate Vibez performing around Seattle with his band Melodious Chaos.

Many people and experiences have influenced Nate’s passion to sing but most importantly he believes it his calling to share his God given talent of song to everyone he knows and comes across. When it comes to music Nate has no boundaries as long as the music has meaning and substance.

Besides singing and writing music Nate loves spending time with many close friends but most of all his family. He also enjoys laughing, cooking, staying active, and experiencing new journeys life has to offer!
